A Place That Changed Lives
Years ago, the three of us (Billy, Codi, and Matt) met at McClain’s pizzeria. It turned into more than just a restaurant; it was the beating heart of our community. It was where we gathered with friends, shared countless laughs, and celebrated life’s big and small moments. It is where we became family. The pizzeria was the neighborhood hangout, a place that fostered connections and created a strong sense of belonging. We felt welcomed and became part of the community. We all have fond memories of those times—kids running around, families sharing meals, and many laughs being had by all. It is the beginning of our story and what brought us here today.

When we (Matt, Codi, and Billy) decided to go into business together, we knew it had to be more than just a business. We were not just looking to buy any restaurant; we’re on a mission to bring back the magic of a night out in Spokane. We want to give back to the community that gave us so much and ensure that everyone can have their favorite spot to create happy memories, meet new friends, and build their family for generations to come.
Matt Heilman
Matthew Heilman brings more than 30 years of experience in the food industry, managing over 10 Subway locations, starting and successfully selling his own pizzeria, and currently running Smacky’s on Broadway. With a proven track record of building strong teams and driving businesses to new heights, Matt is the backbone of our culinary excellence. His deep expertise in the kitchen, coupled with his knack for restaurant management, guarantees that our menu will not only be authentic but also consistently top-notch. Matt’s leadership is instrumental in creating the kind of place where people want to work and customers want to eat.
Billy Quick
Billy Quick retired from his corporate life to pursue his lifelong dream of running restaurants alongside his family. Billy is more than just a business leader. His natural leadership shines through in his unwavering dedication to the community and the people he works with. Known for his southern charm and ability to forge tight bonds, Billy is a true community builder, working tirelessly to cultivate a culture where everyone feels valued and at home. He’s the face you’ll see most often, leading by example and making sure that every person who walks through our doors feels like they belong.
Codi Quick
Codi Quick is the visionary behind our operations, bringing an extensive background in business administration, operations, and management to the table. In addition to her role here, Codi runs a successful marketing agency, Quick Business Resolutions, where she and her team help many other businesses thrive. Her passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience is the driving force behind everything we do. Codi ensures that every detail, from service to ambiance, reflects our commitment to creating a place where people want to come back again and again.
